Five Five One is a gorgeous restaurant and beach bar located on the South side of Clearwater Beach. Five Five One has an amazing tiki deck with spectacular views of the ocean. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail while you watch dolphins playing in the ocean.
The interior decor is elegant yet fun. The bar has plenty of space and serves up a huge selection of spirits. There are several large flat screens tv’s perfect for watching sporting events or catching the news while you enjoy food from their extensive menu.
The first thing you will notice about Five Five One is that it is not your typical beach restaurant. Their menu has an array of delicious items to satisfy the pickiest eater. They have put their own twist on some popular appetizers such as the jumbo lump crab cakes, tempura short ribs, banana grouper nuggets and calamari. They have a variety of salads that taste so good they could make a vegetarian out of you. That is of course until you view the entree menu. The chef serves up everything from lobster, scallops, salmon and bass to duck, lamb chops chicken and pasta.
Be sure to add Five Five One to you list of “must try” restaurants because they offer a dining experience not to be missed!!!

The food was great. It was a nice change as compared to the typical beach restaurant. My only warning, Do not order the wild mushroom flat bread. It was like eating flat bread soaked in vinegar. The restaurant is beautiful and it has a large deck for outdoor eating or having drinks at the bar. This was just what I needed after a long winter. Definitely worth a try!
